Creator & CEO

Joy's background is rooted in the education (M.Ed.) and real estate sectors. As a consultant with Clark Case Consulting Corp., she takes on roles in education to assist with the strategic business of planning, buying, and selling schools and colleges. Her primary competencies are in marketing, public speaking, public relations, negotiations, conflict resolution, and consulting. All of these serve her well with An Idea Nation and Imaginit TV.

DR. M. LEE

Co-CEO/Co-Founder 

Dr. Lee is the Founder/CEO of Excitron Partners Management Limited (a boutique VC/PE firm). He is an economist, corporate executive, consultant, fund manager (managing $2B fund portfolio in US), serial entrepreneur, mentor and investor with businesses in several continents. His achievements include:

More than doubled the managed $2B fund portfolio (respectively focusing in Real Estate, European, M&A, North/South America, Technology, Manufacturing/Distribution) in the United States;
Being the lead negotiator and helped DEC sold itself to Compaq with acquisition price 3 times higher than the initial offer from Compaq;
Turned the Asia Pacific regional performance of Ericsson into black in 2 years time.

Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

• 18 years of experience in software engineering and development.

Randy Mendelsohn

Throughout his legal career, Randy Mendelsohn has developed a practice specializing in the structuring, negotiating, strategizing and documenting of all types of transactions pertaining to the entertainment industry on behalf of financiers, distributors (both foreign and domestic),television broadcasters, production companies, foreign sales companies, Lavagement companies, actors, rights holders, writers, directors and producers in the United States and Europe. Recently, he formed Atomic Finance & Capital, Inc. (“Atomic”) to leverage his vast resources and relationships in a consulting/partnership context with applications inside and outside of the entertainment business.

Devin Thorpe

Devin Thorpe calls himself ‘a champion of social good’. He’s a journalist, author, and speaker with a deep finance background, which was where he initially made his name. But deciding money wasn’t everything, he changed course and has seen his reputation and influence grow. His nomadic lifestyle enables him to bring a global perspective to audiences, no matter where they are. His three major leadership programs - Adding Profit by Adding Purpose, Building a Movement to Change the World and Crowdfunding for Social Good - provide dynamic positive leadership which empowers people to make change not only in their personal lives but also within the organizations in which they work.

Idan Lakritz

Idan is an ICO and Crypto Specialist- Adviser and Investor. Early on (2013) he founded and managed an LTC mining operation of several rigs with a few partners, which only began his fascination with the technology and the endless possibilities it holds. We benefit from his vast financial background including Tax, Audit and Analysis, and experience working for top-tier firms such as PwC and E&Y. He also has experience in sales, online marketing, and product management, while working with a variety of technologies. His aspiration is to use his experience and knowledge to accelerate innovation in the crypto space, through assisting new companies with the early stage process of Blockchain implementation and fundraising. In addition, he currently works with RenGen (an investment and financial services firm focusing on innovative blockchain technologies). His issuance portal SaftLaunch.com offers a unique service for companies seeking to hold an ICO or raise funds through a SAFT agreement and positions him to co-invest into the best early-stage projects in the pre-ICO phase.

Matthew Johnston

Matthew Johnston is an experienced entrepreneur, businessman and executive director. He has over 20 years of start-up and commercial experience, owning companies in both the service and manufacturing sectors, and their associated vertical markets, in both Australia and the USA.

As a highly successful and accomplished innovator, CEO/President and board member, he has worked in industry sectors including insurance and legal, financial, automotive, technology, aviation and the outdoor leisure/action sports industries.

Specializing in industry innovation and leadership in startup and growth stage companies, Matthew is currently the founder and Managing Partner of ILA Global, a USA based International Strategic Business and M & A Advisory. As well as holding several other board positions with companies and non-profit organizations, he is an Advisor and Mentor with Blue Startups - a Top 20 USA accelerator.

Henry Wang

Henry Wang is the Founder and CEO of SmartMesh. He is also the Founder and President of International Blockchain Application Federation (IBAF). Henry’s drive and vision is to build SmartMesh (www.smartmesh.io) the InterPlanetary Decentralized Autonomous Mobile Mesh Network and promote the next generation application ecosystems, which can build the global sharing platform of interconnection and interoperation based on blockchain. Henry founded the International Blockchain Application Federation (IBAF) to promote blockchain applications world wide. Henry earned his M.S. in Beijing University, and he pursued PHD study at Physics Department in Northwestern University with a full scholarship. In 2000, Henry transferred to Washington University in St. Louis for PHD study in Computer Science. He earned the Master Degree with expertise in Internet Tunneling Protocol Design. Henry is a thought leader and an expert on Internet Protocols, Blockchain, ASIC design, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Edge Computing.

Kyle Wang

Kyle Wang is a consultant at IBM Global Business Services with a background in financial services. Inspired by the great minds in the space, Kyle began to relentlessly read and write about the technology while seeking out enthusiastic members of the community. As his following grew, IBM began to put him on blockchain-related projects, focusing on the testing of Hyperledger Fabric. He has a keen interest in crypto economics and the ICO model’s ability to incentivize marketers, investors, and users. Kyle continues to connect and grow the blockchain community through his business development work at the advisory firm Chain Agnostics and by speaking at local blockchain meetups. He also supports blockchain ecosystem startups and coordinates the visits of Chinese delegations interested in fintech.

Nathaniel Hansen

Nathaniel Hansen is a data scientist and the founder and current Director of Research at The Socializers – www.thesocializers.com. He uses insights from social data to activate brand experiences for consumers and is focused on relationships as the core source of driving brand growth and awareness. His personal mission is to connect everybody in the world using social data intelligence so everyone can work together more smoothly, more peacefully and more effectively. He’s worked with clients such as Clarks Shoes, Inter-IKEA, Unilever, JWT, Publicis, and P&G.

Jeff Snyder

A vital cog in Lava’s MR:VR team as MR:VR creator and advisor, Jeff Snyder is the founder of Accomplice Media and an executive producer with over 18 years experience in film, digital and post-production. He boasts a wide range of skills adapted through commercials, feature publicity, network publicity and visual effects. His main focus has been on attracting and marketing directorial talent, business, building strategic partnerships and company Lavagement, as well as providing creative and financial project pitching and execution.

Olivier Leroux

Another creative and advisory big wheel in the MR:VR team, Oliver Leroux has been experimenting with virtual reality and 360º Video, of which he is a pioneer, since 2013.He has filmed 360º video in more than 10 different countries and has recently been working on an immersive travel series, along with a short feature film. In 2016, he founded Impact MR:VR, a company focused on creating meaningful experiences for brands. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia, where he teaches the class MR:VR for Journalism.

Joscelyn Duffy

Joscelyn Duffy, creative consultant to Lava and builder of Legacy with Imaginit TV, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Lavagement from Saint Mary’s University. She has since devoted her life to helping others appreciate and communicate the most meaningful aspects of themselves and their experiences. To date, she has 14 books and over 50 short stories to her name. She envisages a world in which everyone shares their unique voice and develops more authentic interpersonal connections while making more fulfilling contributions.

Nora Bateson

Nora Bateson is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and educator, as well as President of the International Bateson Institute. In that role, she directs research projects that require multiple contexts of research and interdependent processes. Her work is about the interdependency and systemic interrelationships of life. Her book, Small Arcs of Larger Circles (Triarchy Press, UK, 2016) is a revolutionary personal approach to the study of systems and complexity, and now a Harvard text.

Sanford Hinden

Sanford Hinden is a self-development, relationship and communication trainer, coach and speaker who has striven for worldwide peace for over 45 years. With an impressive record in health, education and human services, the arts, the environment, peace-building, government, and business, he provides consulting for organizations, businesses and not-for-profits. When not doing that, he presents educational programs in schools, libraries, community organizations, and businesses to help individuals, couples, families, and organizations reach their full potential.

Gabriel Valencia

Born in Sweden, raised in the US and has been back living in Sweden for the past 8 years. Gabriel has been Chairman and Co-Founder for IT and Software development company TeamLink International for the past 4 years leading the companies path from a turnaround scenario in 2015 to exit occurring Q1 2018.

He is also the founder of VMG Consulting, an IT and Management Consulting currently working closely with ImaginitTV.com. His work includes:

David Dill

Cascadia Pacific was founded by Mr. David Dill. Mr. Dill has achieved three professional industry designations. These are the Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified in Land Planning and Development (CLP) designations both from the Real Estate Institute of Canada and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute in Chicago Illinois. Mr. Dill’s experience in real estate management and development spans two decades and includes such positions as; President, Corporex Developments (Winnipeg, Canada) and Properties/Development Manager Canada, Tokyu Corporation (Tokyo, Japan)

During this time, Mr. Dill was involved in such high profile projects as:
